Die Taylorreihe kann die Polstelle nicht ¨uberwinden (kein Polynom hat Polstellen)
⇒ der linke Funktionsast wird ¨uberhaupt nicht wiedergegeben.
Konvergenzradius R = 1 relativ zu x0 = 0 liegt nicht am Funktionsverlauf im Bereich x ≥ 0, sondern nur an der Polstelle bei x = −1. Sie begrenzt die Konvergenz nach links auf maximal x0 − R = −1, wodurch (Konvergenkreis um x0) die Konvergenz nach rechts auch nur bis x0 + R = +1 reichen kann.
