1 Safety instructions 1.1 In general
The user manual is part of the product and contains important information for correct use.
• Read the user manual completely and carefully before use.
The user manual must be available for uncertainties and passing the product.
• Keep this user manual.
• Only use the product, product parts and accessories if they are in perfect condition.
• Check regularly that the unit cable is still intact.
• Do not use the product if the cable is damaged.
• Contact the dealer or manufacturer if you have any questions, defects, mechanical damage, mal-functions or other problems that cannot be solved with the accompanying documentation.
• Compare the technical data of the product and the power supply system.
These must match or be within the specified range.
Risk of electric shock
• In an emergency, after use and during a thunderstorm, pull the mains plug out of the socket di-rectly at the plug housing.
• Do not open the housing.
• Do not modify product and accessories.
• Do not use the appliance with wet hands.

Operating and storage conditions
• Place, install and transport the product, product parts and accessories safely.
• Place the product on a stable, level, dry and dust-free surface so that it cannot tip over during operation and the surface cannot be damaged by vibrations.
• Avoid extreme loads such as heat and cold, moisture and direct sunlight, microwaves as well as vibrations and mechanical pressure.
• Do not operate the product in dusty environments or with poor ventilation.
• Do not cover the product.
Keep fan slots and ventilation slots clear
• NEVER leave the product unattended during operation.
• Switch off and unplug the product when not in use, when attaching accessories, when cleaning or when malfunctions occur.
Not meant for children. The product is not a toy!

3 Intended Use
This product is intended for private use only and for the purpose for which it is intended purpo-se. This product is not intended for commercial upurpo-se. We do not permit using the device in other ways like described in chapter „Description and Function“ or in the „Safety Instructions“.
Use the product only in dry interior rooms. Not attending to these regulations and safety instructions might cause fatal accidents, injuries, and damages to persons and property.
IPX0: This product is not protected against water.
4 Mounting 4.1 Preparation
1. Check that the scope of delivery is complete and undamaged.

3. Compare the technical data of the product and the mains supply.

• Place, install and transport product, product parts and accessories in a safe way.
CAUTION! Injury by cutting
• Do not touch the edges of the rotor.
The rotor has sharp edges.

1. Place the protective grille with motor block and 4-position switch (3) on a flat and firm surface with the handle facing upwards.
2. Push the rotor (6) with the spacer towards the motor onto the axle. The rotor must not rest directly on the motor. There must be a visible gap between the spacer and the motor. See fig. 1 a).
3. Screw the rotor in place with the screw located on the side of the spacer. See fig.1 b).

4. Place the 2nd protective grid half (4) on the protective grid with the motor block and the rotor.
The holes of both halves must be on top of each other. See fig. 2 a).
5. First insert all the Phillips screws (5) through the holes provided in both halves of the grille.
6. Then tighten each screw clockwise in diagonal order, Fig. 2 b). Otherwise the grille may warp.

7. Put the two halves of the beam (1) together as shown in fig. 3 a).
8. Screw it tight with the Phillips head screw with lens head (2). See fig. 3 b).

9. Slide a spacer (8) onto each of the screw suspensions on the right and left of the fan‘s protective grille, Fig. 4 a).
10. Slide the fan with the screw suspensions and the spacers into the support, fig. 4 b) and 4c).
11. Fix the basket with the triangle hand nuts, Fig. 4 d.
The triangular screws are counter-rotating! One triangular hand nut is tightened anti-clockwise and the other clockwise.

4.3 Set up and align
WARNING! Danger to life and injury due to improper environmental conditions
• Do not place the product near an open window.
Rain splashing on the fan can cause electric shock.
• Do not operate the fan in the area of explosive and/or flammable gases.
• Do not place or operate the product near open flames or near cooking or heat generating pro-ducts such as radiators or stoves.
• Make sure that the fan is not near curtains or objects that can be drawn into the fan.
1. Only hold the fan by the handle (11, Fig. 5) and place it on a dust-free, stable and horizontal sur-face.
2. Turn the front of the fan in the direction you want to ventilate.

6 Maintenance, Care, Storage and Transport
The product is maintenance-free.
NOTICE! Material damage
• Have maintenance and repair work carried out by qualified personnel only.
• Regularly check the tightness of the screws.
• Do not overtighten the screws.
Threads can be damaged.
• Only use a dry and soft cloth for cleaning.
• Do not use detergents or chemicals.
• Store the product out the reach of children and in a dry and dust-protected ambience when not in

• Keep and use the original packaging for transport.
7 Disposal instructions 7.1 Product
According to the European WEEE directive, electrical and electronic equipment must not be disposed with consumers waste. Its components must be recycled or disposed apart from each other. Otherwise contaminative and hazardous substances can damage the health and pollute the environment.
As a consumer, you are committed by law to dispose electrical and electronic devices to the producer, the dealer, or public collecting points at the end of the devices lifetime for free. Particulars are regulated in national right. The symbol on the product, in the user manual, or at the packaging alludes to these terms. 7.2 Packaging
Packaging can be disposed of free of charge at the suitable collection points – paper belongs in paper bins, plastics belong in yellow sacks and glass belongs in used glass bins.

For fine adjustment, the fan can be tilted at an angle of 0°-135°.
3. Tilt the fan to the desired position from which the fan should come. See fig. 6.
5 Operation 5.1 Connecting
CAUTION! Risk of injury from tripping and falling
• Make sure that the connection cable is laid in such a way that it does not obstruct anyone and is not damaged.
• Install the product so that no persons or things can be injured or damaged, e.g. by falling, tripping or the like.

5.2 Setting the fan speeds

• Only operate the unit with the protective grille closed and intact.
• Do not put fingers or objects through the protective grille.
This may result in injury or damage to the unit.
• Keep your hair and loose clothing away from rotating parts.
These can be sucked in by the air flow.
• NEVER leave the product unattended during operation.
• Disconnect the product from the mains when not in use.
The fan strength can be adjusted in 3 steps via the 4-step switch (12, fig, 5).

Conditions de fonctionnement et de stockage
• Placez, installez et transportez le produit, les pièces du produit et les accessoires en toute sécu-rité.
• Placez le produit sur une surface stable, plane, sèche et sans poussière afin qu‘il ne puisse pas basculer pendant le fonctionnement et que la surface ne soit pas endommagée par les vibrations.

4 Montage 4.1 Préparation
1. Vérifiez que le contenu de la livraison est complet et intact.
2. Comparez les données techniques de toutes les unités à utiliser et assurez-vous de leur compa-tibilité.
3. Comparez les données techniques du produit et de l‘alimentation secteur.
Ils doivent être identiques.
4.2 Montage
ATTENTION ! Risque de blessure par trébuchement et chute
• Placez, installez et transportez le produit, les pièces du produit et les accessoires en toute sécu-rité.
ATTENTION ! Blessure par coupure
• Ne touchez pas le rotor sur les bords.
Le rotor est à arêtes vives.

1. Placez la grille de protection avec le bloc moteur et l‘interrupteur à 4 positions (3) sur une surface plane et ferme, la poignée tournée vers le haut.
2. Poussez le rotor (6) avec l‘entretoise vers le moteur sur l‘axe. Le rotor ne doit pas reposer direc-tement sur le moteur. Il doit y avoir un espace visible entre l‘entretoise et le moteur. Voir fig. 1 a).
3. Vissez le rotor en place avec la vis située sur le côté de l‘entretoise. Voir fig.1 b).

4. Placez la 2ème moitié de grille de protection (4) sur la grille de protection avec le bloc moteur et le rotor.
Les trous des deux moitiés doivent être superposés. Voir fig. 2 a).
5. Insérez d‘abord toutes les vis Phillips (5) dans les trous prévus à cet effet dans les deux moitiés de la grille.
6. Serrez ensuite les vis dans le sens des aiguilles d‘une montre en diagonale, fig. 2 b). Sinon, la grille risque de se déformer.

7. Assemblez les deux moitiés de support (1) comme indiqué sur la figure 3 a).
8. Vissez-les fermement à l‘aide de la vis cruciforme avec tête de lentille (2). Voir fig. 3 b).

9. Faites glisser une entretoise (8) chacune sur les supports à vis à droite et à gauche de la grille de protection du ventilateur, fig. 4 a).
10. Faites glisser le ventilateur avec les suspensions à vis et les entretoises dans le support, fig. 4 b) et 4c).
11. Fixez le panier avec les écrous à main triangulaires, fig. 4 d.
Les vis à main triangulaires sont contrarotatives ! Serrez un écrou à main triangulaire dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d‘une montre et l‘autre dans le sens des aiguilles d‘une montre.
