5 Erläuterungen zur schweizerischen

Fremdenverkehrsstatistik und zu den Tabellen

1 Gesetzliche Grundlagen

Bundesstatistikgesetz vom 9. Oktober 1992; Verordnung über die Durchführung von statistischen Erhebungen des Bundes vom 30. Juni 1993.

2 Erhebungsbereich

2.1 Hotel- und Kurbetriebe:

Ganze Schweiz, Betriebe mit mindestens drei Gast- betten in Feriengebieten und Städten bzw. mit minde- stens fünf Gastbetten in den übrigen Landesteilen.

2.2 Ferienhäuser und -wohnungen, Privatzimmer (Privatquartiere):

Vollständige Erfassung der Gäste in den Kantonen Bern, Obwalden, Graubünden, Tessin, Wallis sowie aus- gewählte Orte in den Kantonen Appenzell A.-Rh., St. Gallen und Glar us. Sie machen knapp drei Viertel des gesamtschweizerischen Logiernächteumfangs aus.

Die Nachfrage auf Landesebene muss geschätzt werden.

Infolge Übergangsschwierigkeiten bei der Einführung von Änderungen im Rahmen der kantonalen Gesetz- gebung für den Tourismus, konnte die Nachfrage für das Jahr 1989/90 nicht ermittelt werden.

2.3 Zelt-, Wohnwagenplätze, Gr uppenunterkünfte, Jugendherbergen:

Vollständige Erfassung des Angebots und der Nach- frage auf Landesebene.

Ende der Fremdenverkehrssaison 1992/93 wurde die Parahotelleriestatistik aus finanziellen Gründen aufge- hoben. Am 1. Mai 1996 wurde sie in leicht veränderter Form wieder eingeführt.

3 Grundbegriffe

3.1 Ankünfte:

Zahl der zur Übernachtung angekommenen Gäste (ein- schliesslich Kinder) in den Hotel- und Kurbetrieben.

Die Ankünfte werden in der Parahotellerie seit 1996 nicht mehr erfasst.

2 Ambito di rilevazione

2.1 Alberghi e stabilimenti di cura:

Tutta la Svizzera, aziende con una disponibilità di al- meno tre letti per ospiti in località di vacanza ed in città oppure con almeno cinque letti nelle altre località.

2.2 Case e appartamenti di vacanza, camere private (alloggi privati):

Registrazione completa degli ospiti nei Cantoni di Berna, Obvaldo, Grigioni, Ticino, Vallese e alcune loca- lità selezionate dei Cantoni di Appenzello Esterno, San Gallo, e Glarona. Complessivamente costituiscono quasi i tre quarti del totale dei pernottamenti svizzeri. La domanda a livello nazionale dev’essere stimata.

In seguito a difficoltà di transizione dovute all’intro- duzione di modifiche nel quadro della legislazione can- tonale sul turismo non si è potuta rilevare la domanda per l’anno 1989/90.

2.3 Campeggi, alloggi collettivi, ostelli per la gioventù:

Rilevazione completa dell’offerta e della domanda su scala nazionale.

Alla fine della stagione turistica 1992/93, la statistica del settore paralberghiero era stata sospesa per ragioni fi- nanziarie. Il 1° maggio 1996 essa è stata reintrodotta in una forma leggermente mutata.

3 Concetti fondamentali

3.1 Arrivi:

Numero degli ospiti (bambini compresi) ar rivati per per-

nottare negli alberghi e stabilimenti di cura. Nel settore

paralberghiero, gli arrivi non sono più registrati dal

1996.

6 3.2 Logiernächte:

Zahl der durch die Gäste (einschliesslich Kinder) ver- brachten Übernachtungen.

3.3 Herkunftsland der Gäste:

Land des ständigen Wohnsitzes.

3.4 Kapazität (Betten/Schlafplätze):

Bei allen in den nachstehenden Tabellen aufgeführten Angebotsangaben handelt es sich um die Gesamtzahl der in geöffneten und geschlossenen Betrieben vorhandenen Gastbetten bzw. Schlafplätze. Das der Kundschaft jeweils tatsächlich zur Auswahl stehende Angebot liegt – je nach Beherbergungsform und Jahreszeit – mehr oder weniger deutlich unter dem angegebenen Wert.

Die Kapazitätsangaben der Hotel-, Kurbetriebe, Cam- pingplätze, Kollektivunterkünfte und Jugendherbergen werden laufend erhoben, während das Bettenangebot im Sektor «Privatquartiere» nur periodisch – im Kanton Tessin letztmals 1999 – erfasst wird. Die für diesen Bereich ermittelten Kapazitäten sind zudem nur als Annäherungswerte zu betrachten, da deren lückenlose Ermittlung aus verschiedenen Gründen mit vertret- barem Aufwand nicht möglich ist.

4 Verschiedenes

4.1 Zeitperioden:

Fremdenverkehrsjahr: November bis Oktober

0 oder 0,0 Grösse, die kleiner ist als die Hälfte der kleinsten verwendeten Einheit.

3.2 Pernottamenti:

Numero dei pernottamenti degli ospiti (bambini com- presi).

3.3 Paesi di provenienza degli ospiti:

Paese del domicilio permanente.

3.4 Capacità ricettiva (letti/posti letto):

Tutte le indicazioni delle tabelle seguenti riguardanti l’offerta si riferiscono al totale dei letti o posti letto esi- stenti nelle aziende aperte e chiuse. L’offerta effettiva a disposizione degli ospiti si colloca – secondo la forma di alloggio e la stagione – più o meno al di sotto del valore indicato.

I dati sulla capacità ricettiva negli alberghi e negli stabi- limenti di cura, nei campeggi, negli alloggi collettivi e negli ostelli per la gioventù vengono rilevati di continuo, mentre l’offerta di letti nel settore degli «alloggi privati»

è rilevata solo periodicamente – nel Cantone l’ultima volta nel 1999. Bisogna inoltre considerare le cifre indi- cate per questo settore come valori approssimativi, dato che, per diverse cause, un rilevamento più preciso esige- rebbe un dispendio di lavoro notevole.
