VI. AIRPORT / BORDER SERVICE
The Danish Refugee Council can be contacted, but there is no NGO present at Danish airports.
VII. LEGAL AID
Free legal aid is available from the Danish Refugee Council through all stages of the status determination procedure. The Danish Refugee Council makes regular visits to detention centres and asylum centres for legal counselling. In the appeal-process of asylum applicants covered by the Dublin-Regulation, the Refugee Council functions as legal representative. During the appeals procedure of an asylum case, all asylum seekers are provided with a lawyer paid for by the state. Eligibility for free legal aid is not dependent on a merits or means test in Denmark.
