As can be seen from its name, Araias belongs to the "AR"-type, i.e. very early maturing group of perennial ryegrass.
Heading date is 1 day later than for the already recommended variety Arara. In the official variety examination 2014- 2016, Araias convinced with the highest yield as well as the best digestibility in the entire early diploid group. As a diploid variety with a high shoot density, Araias is particularly interesting for
