Fact Sheet

Persistent like perennial ryegrass

DUS test conducted at Scharnhorst, BSA (DE), 2015-2016

UPOV No Characteristics State of expression Note

The name Pereneia indicates that this is not a classic hybrid ryegrass, but a backcross of hybrid ryegrass with perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne). In comparison to perennial types of existing hybrid ryegrass, it achieved top marks in endurance as well as in the digestibility of the organic matter in the official variety test from 2014 to 2016.

Despite this strong perennial character, Pereneia also showed the highest

yields.
