and Exporters Association (BGMEA) Die BGMEA fördert die Interessen der Bekleidungsindustrie durch politische Für-sprache bei der Regierung. Außerdem unterstützt sie die Mitgliedsunternehmen mit Dienstleistungen und sorgt für die Achtung von Arbeitnehmerrechten und Sozialstan-dards in den Fabriken. Die BGMEA hat inzwischen 4.500 Mitgliedsunternehmen.

and Exporters Association (BKMEA) Die BGMEA hat mehr als 2.000 Mitgliedsunternehmen, denen sie verschiedene Dienst-leistungen zur Förderung einer kontinuierlichen Unternehmensentwicklung anbietet.
4 Federation of Bangladesh Chambers
of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) Die 1973 gegründete FBCCI hat als Apex-Handelsorganisation eine wichtige beratende Funktion und setzt sich für die Interessen des Privatsektors ein.
5 Deutsch-Bangladeschische Industrie-
und Handelskammer (BGCCI) Die BGCCI ist mit über 330 aktiven Mitgliedern die größte bilaterale Handelskammer des Landes. Sie hat die Aufgabe, den Handel zwischen Bangladesch und Deutschland sowie anderen europäischen Ländern zu fördern.
6 Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and
Industry (DCCI) Die DCCI wurde 1958 als haftungsbeschränkte Gesellschaft gegründet und dient als erste Anlaufstelle für den Markteintritt in Bangladesch. Sie bietet Interessenten auf Fakten beruhende Einschätzungen und unterstützt sie mit Vorschlägen und Empfeh-lungen.
