Das Programm PIA bestimmt die Positionen von lokalen Maxima eines zweidimensionalen dis-krekten Graphen. Die Abst¨ande zwischen zwei x-Werten eines solchen Graphen m¨ussen kon-stant sein und werden durch das Programm als 1 behandelt. Als lokale Maxima sind solche Punkte des Graphen definiert, die in ihrer lokalen Umgebung (maximale Breite b/2 in beide x-Richungen) beidseitig jeweils mindestens einen Punkt um die H¨ohe h ¨uberragen. Um zu normieren, wird die Position erkannter Maxima einem von n gleich großen Abschnitten zu-geordnet. So kann die Maximaverteilung unterschiedlicher Graphen gemittelt und verglichen werden. Da das Programm PIA derzeit noch bearbeitet wird, soll im Folgenden nur der Kern des Programms, die Erkennung eines lokalen Maximums, vorgestellt werden (siehe Anhang 6.1). Die Funktionpeak singleCell erh¨alt die Variablenvalue list,height undwidth.value list enth¨alt eine Liste aller y-Werte, beginnend mit der Position 0. heightundwidthentsprechenh und b/2. Das Programm erzeugt ein Fenster, das mit der Schrittgr¨oße 1 entlang des Graphen wandert und nach Aufstiegen von mindestensheightsucht. Wird ein Aufstieg gefunden, pr“uft das Programm, ob innerhalb von widthein Abstieg um mindestensheight vorliegt. Sind diese Bedingungen erf¨ullt, ist ein Maximum gefunden.
