An der Universität Wien (mit 20 Fakultäten und Zentren, 178 Studienrichtungen, ca. 9.800 Mitarbei- ter*innen und rund 90.000 Studierenden) ist ab 01.09.2020 die Position eines/einer Gastprofes- sor*in an der Historisch-Kulturwissenschaftlichen Fakultät bis 28.02.2021 zu besetzen.
Dauer der Befristung: 6 Monate
Beschäftigungsausmaß: 30 Stunden/Woche.
Einstufung gemäß Kollektivvertrag: Univ Prof. (KV) Gastprof. Darüber hinaus können anrechenba- re Berufserfahrungen die Einstufung und damit das Entgelt bestimmen.
Ihre Aufgaben: Die Gastprofessur dient als Vertretung von Prof. Raphael Rosenberg, Institut für Kunstgeschichte. Erwünscht sind Schwerpunkte in der Kunstgeschichte Europas der frühen Neu- zeit, ggf. der Moderne. Vorgesehen ist ein Lehrumfang von 6 Wochenstunden.
Ihr Profil:
Erfolgreiche Kandidat*innen qualifizieren sich durch:
- Abgeschlossenes Doktorat in Kunstgeschichte
- Post-Doc Erfahrung an einer Universität oder einer anderen Forschungseinrichtung
- Habilitation (Venia docendi) oder eine gleichwertige Qualifikation, die an einer Universität oder einer anderen Forschungseinrichtung erworben wurde
- Facheinschlägige wissenschaftliche Publikationstätigkeit
- Hervorragende pädagogische und didaktische Eignung, sowie hohe Qualität in der Lehre und Lehrerfahrung im Fachbereich Kunstgeschichte
Bitte fügen Sie der Bewerbung ein CV mit Publikationsliste, Liste der bisher abgehaltenen Lehrver- anstaltungen, Kopien der Zeugnisse und Vorschläge für Lehrveranstaltungen: eine Vorlesung, ein Seminar (Hauptseminar), eine Fallstudie (Proseminar). Lehrveranstaltungen können auf Englisch abgehalten werden, Deutsch wird aber bevorzugt. Vorschläge für Lehre sollten berücksichtigen, dass diese im Wintersemester 2020/2021 unter Umstände noch online zu erfolgen hat.

The University of Vienna (20 faculties and centres, 178 fields of study, approx. 9.800 members of staff, about 90.000 students) seeks to fill the position from 01.09.2020 to 28.02.2021 of a Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Historical and Cultural Studies.
Duration of employment: 6 month/s Extent of Employment: 30 hours/week
Job grading in accordance with collective bargaining agreement: Univ Prof. (KV) Gastprof. with relevant work experience determining the assignment to a particular salary grade.
Job Description: The guest professorship is a replacement for Prof. Raphael Rosenberg, Depart- ment of Art History. Applicants should have a focus on early modern or possibly modern Europe- an Art History. The teaching load is 6 hours.
Profile:
Successful candidates should demonstrate:
- Doctorate in Art History
- Post-doc experience at universities or other research institutions
- Habilitation (Venia docendi) or equivalent qualification acquired at universities or other research institutions
- Relevant scientific publication activity
- Outstanding educational and didactic skills as well as high quality and experience in teaching in Art History
Please attach a CV with a list of publications, list of courses held so far, copies of diplomas and suggestions for courses: a lecture course, a seminar (advanced seminar), a seminar for beginners (first and second year). Teaching in English is possible, though German is preferred. Proposals for teaching should take into account that this may still have to be done online in the winter term 2020/2021.
