2.2. Drei Fakten genügen

Nobel wurde 1833 in Schweden geboren. Er interessierte sich für Chemie, sprach aber auch

Fremdsprachen. Nobel arbeitete an der Entwicklung des Sprengstoffs Nitroglyzerin und erwarb das Patent für Dynamit. Er hatte 355 Patente und war einer der reichsten Männer in Europa.

Er wollte mit seinen Erfindungen der Menschheit helfen. Nach seinem Tod 1896 wurde sein Vermögen an die Nobel Stiftung übergeben.

It was in June last year. I crossed the street and a car ran me over. I saw that the driver didn’t stop.

But a young man came to me and asked me if I was ok. I said that my leg hurt. He called the ambulance. The ambulance came quickly. They took me to the hospital. After two weeks it was over and I felt better und could go home. I was very, very lucky that the young man called the ambulance.

b)

I would like to start a chocolate restaurant. I really like chocolate and would like to be my own boss. It is also interesting because you meet new people every day. I also like cooking. In the winter I would offer hot chocolate and in the summer I would offer cold chocolate drinks. I would be successful because people like warm drinks in the winter and cold drinks in the summer and many people love sweets and give them as presents.

c)

I don’t get much pocket money because my parents don’t have a job. Some of my classmates get

more money than me. My parents say that I can work or I can save if I want to buy something. It is

only 10 Euros a month. Sometimes I hand out newspapers. But it is very hard to get such a job. It is

not easy to get a job in my city. I would like to buy a computer and a stereo.
