Full Professor (C4) of Applied Information Technology in Art History The person appointed will continue to develop the systematic basis of information technology in art history and carry out teaching
and research in the field of art history. The appointee will also be responsible for the administration of the "Bildarchiv Foto Marburg - The German Documentation Centre for Art History (www.fotomarburg.de)
" with the support of an executive manager.
Prerequisites are a doctorate in art history, further research in the history of visual experience, notable results in the development, application and reflection of advanced models of information technology for the humanities in general and art in particular as well as experience in academic management.

Teaching experience and proof of the ability to perform research are required - in addition to a doctorate, applicants will be required to additional academic qualifications (e.g. Habilitation) . Evidence of teaching ability should be suitably documented - e.g. course materials, teaching awards, activities in the field of
university-level didactics.
