The Department of Art History, University of California, Los Angeles, invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor specializing in the arts of Africa and the African Diaspora, to start July 1, 2022.

We seek a scholar whose work emphasizes methodological innovation as well as connections between multiple geographies, and who is interested in cross-field collaboration within the depart- ment and the university. Ph.D. required.

We especially welcome candidates whose experience in teaching, research, or community service has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to diversity and excellence.
