- Acquisition of 2 cement plants in Kaspi and Rustavi

- Start re-allocation of dry cement plant from Germany to Georgia (Kartuli Cement).

- 2006 -2007 years: 160 Million USD investment

- A first step into the RMX business on the main market - Clinker production started in Kartuli Cementi

- Rustavi and Kaspi cement plants modernization /dust handling filters Installation - 2008-2009: 60 million USD were invested

Entrance on Georgian Market in 2006

2008:Kartuli Cement plant & start of RMX business 2010: Farther expansion in RMX operations

- The Tbilisi market needed a second RMX plant to cover big projects on both sides of Tbilisi - Kartuli Cementi – full production process

- Investments 2010-2011: USD 12 million

2011 - 2012: Cement Terminal in Supsa

- A 3rd mobile RMX plant was needed to be able to cover big projects in Tbilisi

- the cement terminal in Supsa (Black Sea) was necessary to secure a timely delivery - 2012: 12 million USD investment

2013: Poti Mill & Expansion of RMC network

- HeidelbergCement Acquired existing cement mill in Poti / invested for RMX plant at the same place . Quality of the produced cement increased to highest international standards.

- 10 million USD were invested for expansion in Poti

2014: HeidelbergCement today

- By the Middle of 2014 production in newly- acquired Poti cement mill will have doubled - Two additional RMX plants are planned for Rustavi and Kutaisi

- Estimated investments 2013-2014: up to 20 million USD

- Fulfill all volume and quality requirements for HPPs and infrastructural projects in Georgia.

• Best possibility to produce CEM III type of cement with imported slag

• Lower transportation costs due to the preferable logistical location

• Best opportunity for our RMX plants to minimize transportation costs
