The Botanical Garden is open 365 days a year.

Spring (March until the end of April) Mar 1 – Mar 31 from 9am to 6pm Apr 1 – Apr 30 from 9am to 7pm

Summer/Autumn (May until mid-October) May 1 – Aug 15 from 9am to 9pm

Aug 16 – Sep 15 from 9am to 8pm Sep 16 – Oct 15 from 9am to 6pm

Winter (mid-October until the end of February) Oct 16 – Feb 28 from 9am to 5pm

Final admittance:

60 minutes before the garden closes

Please show respect toward all plants and animals that live here. And toward other visitors.

Picnickers are welcome on the meadows at the playground and in the rose garden, however not in the Japanese Garden.

In case of an emergency, dial 112 and inform the ticket office 0821 324-6038.

Sorry, the following are not allowed: ball games, barbecues, swimming, climbing on trees, walls, rocks, and artworks.

Swimming pools, barbecue sites and playgrounds can be found at augsburg.de/freizeit

Smoking is not allowed in the Garden. In the areas in front of the restrooms and in the Food and Drink area, smoking is allowed.

Dogs are welcome.

In order to maintain this, please keep them on a short leash and dispose of any waste.
