ASTUR was developed from the cultivar MILVUS, which was treated with colchicine and it has the same

recognisable feature, namely the strong dark red stipules. No other variety of red clover guarantees an equally secure persistence over three years under our conditions as ASTUR. Also against powdery mildew ASTUR shows the best resistance of all recommended varieties. In yield ASTUR is only exceeded by LARUS.
