Introduction

The last IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate change) report of the year 2007 has caused a big interest regarding the global climate change in the media, politics and society. Great effort is undertaken and still is going on to understand the mechanism of climate change and the anthropogenic impact on it /citepbaeumer2007.

One approach for a better understanding of the anthropogenic effects on the climate could be the analysis of the 7-day-periodicities in

meteorological data. Since there is no natural long-term seven-day- cycle known, one can consider the weekly anomalies in meteorological data-sets as human made. A few researches have been done on this topic:
