Natasha Goldman Dear H-ArtHist,

Currently my department is researching database structures for digital images.

I hope that I may ask H-Art members for their feedback on databases currently in use.

If you are interested in responding, please include the database

being used/under consideration, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of those software

programs. So far I have information on Portfolio 7, MDID (Madison Digital Image Database), and

Re:Discovery.

Any input would be greatly appreciated, and, I hope, useful to all of our list members.
