Dear Sir or Madam,

In the Russian Federation, water supply and wastewater disposal have been facing great challenges over the past years, which is confirmed not least by the numbers put forward in the “Pure Water” strategy. The projects laid down in this strategy will elevate the supply infrastructure onto another level of quality.

The “Pure Water” strategy offers the opportunity to integrate the area of supply infrastructure in the field of water supply and wastewater disposal into the German- Russian partnership of modernisation aiming at utilizing the enormous potential of a close cooperation even better.

We would like to invite you to take part in the following event within the framework of WASSER BERLIN INTERNATIONAL 2013:

“Water supply and wastewater disposal –

current market developments in the Russian Federation”

26th April 2013, 9.30 am – 12.00 noon Exhibition grounds Berlin, Hall 6.3, Grosser Saal

German Water Partnership e.V., Messe Berlin GmbH and the Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations organize this event together with the Russian Water

& Wastewater Association (RAWW).

Russian and German experts will provide an overview of the current situation and of the prospects in the water industry of the Russian Federation as well as of

possibilities of cooperation with German companies. Special focus is to be attached to the issues of maintaining technical standards as well as the certification of products, equipment and technologies and the subject of procurement by tender.
