Physical Education
Some people want to stop Physical Education classes at school. They say (0) school should be only teach subjects like Maths and French because (00) students can do sports in their free time. However, I believe PE is so a very (1) important part of school life. Personally, I would better love to have more PE (2) at school, not less.
Many teenagers today aren’t being fit. They spend all day at a desk or in (3) front of a computer, so they don’t move enough. Their parents probably (4) walked or cycled to school much when they were young but nowadays many (5) students go by bus or drive themselves. In PE, students have usually to be (6) physically active, which it is necessary for a healthy lifestyle. PE is also (7) a break from learning. Afterwards, students can concentrate on better. (8) Another reason why young people must have the chance to do sports at (9) school is that it can cost a lot of to join a sports club or gym. For some (10) students the membership might be too expensive.
PE teachers aren’t as strict as they used to be horribly. For example, our (11) teacher lets us to choose our favourite activities. We need to get exercise (12) and PE is fun—let’s keep it, not drop it!
