University of Auckland, New Zealand Vacancy 1273

The Department of Art History is seeking either a Senior Lecturer or a Lecturer to fill a recent vacancy in the area of Italian Renaissance art and Baroque art in Europe. As there is no permanent departmental appointment in Contemporary Art and Theory, applicants with expertise in these areas would also be considered.

The successful candidate would have a PhD, a strong record of research and publication, and teaching experience in his/her area. Some experience in administration would also be a recommendation.

The post could be filled from the beginning of the second semester, July 2001, or from the beginning of the new academic year in 2002, depending on the successful candidates commitments.
