“Sports and hobbies” – Englisch lernen mit sechs Kindern aus sechs Kontinenten!

Wir lernen Hannes aus Deutschland, Bandele aus Kenia, Narisara aus Thailand, Antonia aus Argentinien, Olivia aus den USA und Jim aus Australien kennen.

Sie alle heißen uns bei sich willkommen und stellen uns ihren Alltag vor.

Wo leben sie? Wer gehört zu ihrer Familie? Welche Hobbies und Sportarten begeistern sie und ihre Familie oder Freunde?

Neben Wortschatztraining, Grammatik und unerlässlicher Dialogschulung werden mit spieleri- schen Zugängen das Bewusstsein für andere Kulturen geschärft und die Neugierde auf Fremdes geweckt. Der Wortschatz der ersten beiden Lehrjahre wie sports and hobbies, family members, colours, numbers and letters, clothes, food, school, animals, days of the week, weather wird ebenso berücksichtigt wie diverse grammatikalische Grundstrukturen.

Die Methoden sind abwechslungsreich und beinhalten z.B. Lege-/Zuordnungsspiele wie Domino, Memo-Cards, Kreuzworträtsel oder Zeichnen im Koordinatensystem. Daher eignen sich viele Übungen auch als Partnerarbeit.

Nun laden wir Sie ein, mit Ihren Schülern auf Weltreise zu gehen!

Willkommen – Welcome to my family!

“Hello. I’m Hannes Wagner from Europe. I live in the south of Germany. We live near Munich.

Do you know Munich? Sure, you do! You all know the famous football club “FC Bayern Munich”. That’s my favourite football club!

We sometimes go to the stadium to see my heroes playing. What

a fun! I support them with my wistle. I always wear my fan shirt when we go to the stadium. I like taking pictures!

In the afternoon, when I have inished my homework, I play football with my friends Max, Yannick, Erfan and Lars. We all love sports and have a lot of hobbies. In summer, Max likes playing volleyball and swimming. There is a swimming pool round the corner. We often meet there. In winter, he often goes ice skating with his sister Ellen. I sometimes go with them. We always have a lot of fun.

In summer, Erfan often goes cycling in the woods. His dog Colin is always with him. Erfan likes going bowling in winter. Bowling is his favourite sport.

Yannick’s father likes boxing. He’s a box champion and has won many titles. During winter, he trains indoors. In summer, he often performs his training outdoors. Yannick loves going with his father. He takes part in the training. His parents have a itness studio in town, too.

We sometimes visit Yannick and his parents there. Yannick is already good at boxing and wants to be a champion like his father later.

My friend Lars loves long walks with his dogs Franz and Clara. They are Newfoundland dogs and love cold weather, especially snow. In summer, Lars joins us at the swimming pool. Sometimes, he goes swimming in

the lake because his dogs like swimming, too!”

“Hello. I’m Antonia from Argentina. I’m 9 years old.

Argentina is a very big country in South America. Can you ind it on the map? It is number 8 in the world’s largest countries. More than 42 million people live in

Argentina. We speak Spanish. Most people do so in South America. I speak English, too. My favourite hobby is karaoke and I love singing English songs! I often go to a karaoke bar with my family. My family, that’s mum, dad and my sister Maria.

We sing together. I can see the English songtexts on a big screen. That’s so cool!
