What is this course about?
Goals: A good command of German is necessary not only during your studies, but also in future when you will look for a job in Germany. You should participate if you already speak German at the level of B1-B2 and would like to improve your skills particularly focussing on the use of language at the university, in academic environments and in preparation for your thesis. Various exercises and examples of letter to professors or other German authorities shall show you the correct phrases.
Contents:
Grammar excercises at levels B1-B2
How to write letters to lecturers and to official authorities
Learn and practise oral skills
Prerequisites:
This course is open to students of all degree courses at RheinAhrCampus Remagen with a good command of the German language.

. Methods: Communicative and interactive language teaching.Assessment: Active and regular participation are compulsory. There will be a written and an oral examination at the end of the semester. Assignments set during the semester may also contribute to the overall grade awarded for this course. As this course is part of the interdisciplinary academic skills training
semester*FIT, the credits cannot be used to fulfill the graduation requirements of the full-time degree courses offered at RheinAhrCampus Remagen.
