The temperature and enthalpy of the phase transition and fusion of EuCl2 were determined and found to be 1014 K, 11.5 kJ mol 1 and 1125 K, 18.7 kJ mol 1, respectively. Addition- ally, the heat capacity of solid EuCl2was measured by Differential Scanning Calorimetry in the temperature range 306 - 1085 K. The results were fitted to the linear equation C0p;m= (68.27 + 0.0255 T/K) J mol 1K 1in the temperature range 306 - 900 K. Due to discrepancies in the liter- ature on the temperature of fusion of EuCl2, the determination of the NaCl-EuCl2phase diagram was repeated. It consists of a simple eutectic equilibrium at Teut= 847 K with x(EuCl2) = 0.49.

The small degree of Ru/Cd mixing leads to a drastic decrease of the Curie temperature from 258 K (GdCd) to 63.6 K (GdRu 0.2 Cd 0.8 ) in a Vegard-type manner.. Magnetic properties

The heating of this sample with the scanning rate 40 K/min stimulates the phase transition from the sta- ble phase KIb to the stable phase KIa at T C4 h (sharp en- dothermic anomaly

When the sample was subsequently heated up from 388 K to 425 K, at a constant heating rate of 5 K · min −1 , the phase transition occurred from phase KII to phase K0’, which

On curve No 7 quite an opposite phenomenon has occurred; one can observe a major anomaly at T C4 and a slight one at T C3 , because in this case only a small part of the

In the molten system AlCl 3 -DMSO 2 , the Raman spectra show that complex ions of Al-containing species were present in the DMSO 2 -based melts [12].. Assume that a solvent

There is a distinct depreciation of the DSC curve (marked with an asterisk in Fig. 5), that was recorded during heating of sample b at a rate of 25 K/minute, just after an anomaly

As the development of fault-tolerant systems requires to specify which types of faults are tolerated, timely exploitation needs to be one viewpoint of a fault taxonomy. As this is not
