I. General provisions

1 These regulations serves to ensure the continuation of study pro-

grammes and examination in special and extraordinary situations by overriding parts of the existing regulations.

1 These regulations apply to teaching and further education. The articles

shall apply analogously to further education.

1 The University Executive Board implements the regulations in accord-

ance with their scope and informs the members of the university imme- diately.

II. Module description/Semester information

1 The module description/semester information can be adjusted by the

director of studies up to two weeks before the end of face-to-face clas- ses according to the university calendar of the respective semes- ter. The students shall be informed of the adjustment in writing.

2 If the module description/semester information or the transcript of rec-

ords is adjusted, students can deregister from the respective module without consequences.

1 Assessments can be cancelled or postponed. In the event of a post-

ponement, the students must be informed in writing one week in ad- vance.

2 Course assessments of a module can be adjustment (number, type,

mode) by the director of studies. In case of adjustment students must be informed in writing one week in advance of a adjusted or new as- sessment.

3 In the case of oral examinations, the involvement of an expert can be

waived if the oral performance can be proven by the examiners in an- other suitable form.

4 If the course assessments of modules are adjusted, students can with-

draw from the module in question without consequences.

III. Examination procedure

1 In deviation to the Study and Examination Regulations art. 16

para. 3: Students can de-register from a module prior to start of the ex- amination weeks according to the university calendar. This also applies to re-examinations.

IV. Final provisions

1 These regulations come into force as of 14 September 2021. The regu-

lations replace the Regulations for study programmes and examina- tions in extraordinary situations from 22 Februar 2021.

1 The University Council delegates the authority to repeal the regulations

to the Executive Board. The Executive Board shall immediately inform the University Council and the members of the university of the repeal.
