‘Extraordinary situations require extraordinary measures.’

Dear students,

Here are tasks in order to practice and improve your English skills. Please do them carefully. (This concerns each and every one of you, please take them seriously and don’t just copy the solution from a classmate.)

There will be a revision part and then you will have to start dealing with the new unit on or own.

Whenever you have difficulties to understand expressions or tasks, don’t hesitate to use a dictionary or translating tools from the internet. I’m sure you can handle it.

Last not least I prepared a couple of links where you can practice your English knowledge. Just copy the links into your browser window and click on them.

I’m looking forward to hopefully seeing you again in good health in a few weeks.

I. Khati

1 Revision (Focus on vocabulary and writing skills)

Please do the following tasks in your ‘English G 21’ books and write them down into your folders.

- Copy the text and complete it by choosing the correct words from the purple box.

1 About 18 million people in Britain are afraid of having no mobile phone.

2 Lily tried to live without her mobile for one week.

3 She calls her friend who usually waits for her at the bus stop.

4 She’s never forgotten her sister’s birthday.
