Medicine Man Medicine Man,
the room is a little wobbly, your face is leaning like Pisa, you are giving me so much!
Three on my tongue every evening, like keys for some lock
and my mouth is the door swinging.
I close it and burn.
The radio plays some beat, and it is crashing into my room, like a hundred moths.
Over my body the drums go.
The music moves more than I do. Medicine Man, you’re a crazy man.
I’ve been doped.
This morning I was numb,
now my body opens and stretches like a cut.
What a party this is! You turn off the light, but it turns into fire, a spotlight for my dance.
My mind is swinging. I hear it like a chorus of bells, my limbs thrust wildly as if pushing a boulder away from a tomb.
Man, here is your experiment.
Heaven and hell are drowning in the fire of dance.
I wrap myself in a dirty sheet and have not a strap of fear until you tie me down.
Medicine Man,
the dancer has gone out.

Medizinmann Medizinmann,
