Movie-night with discussion

Loud and Clear!

A film by Daniellis Hernandez Calderon, 2016, 58 min, (original with English subtitles) with

subsequent discussion with Women in Exile e.V. in English, German, Farsi and Arabic.

In the year 2014 the group “Women in Exile” (an initiative of women in exile) visited for 7 weeks women in refugee accommodations from Nürnberg to Berlin. During the journey, there are more and more women who decide to join the group. As the group grows, the voice of the grou grows as well. Laughter, music, dance, friendship and solidarity replace fear, apathy and resignation.

The film “Loud and clear!” gives courage not to give up and to stand up together for women’s rights! With representatives of the group Women in Exile e.V. we subsequently want to discuss about the work and the situation of resorted women. What problems do these women face in Germany? What can we do to improve their living conditions?
