Correction to "Processing and Analysis of Large Volumes of

Satellite-Derived Thermal Infrared Data"

by P. Cornilion et al.

In the paper "Processing and Analysis of Large Volumes of Satellite-Derived Thermal Infrared Data" by P. Cornilion et al. (Journal of Geophysical Research, 92(C12), 12,993- 13,002, 1987), the coefficients for equation (1) were given as 7-- --2.172 and •--0.623. The signs were reversed. The coefficients should have been 7 -- 2.172 and • -- -0.623.
