How do I close a case?

AD_BUC_01_Subprocess: Close Case

Description:

The Administrative sub-process 'Close Case' is used in a situation where a business process reaches a conclusion (i.e. all tasks have been successfully completed) or there is an exceptional reason to terminate a business process before all tasks have been successfully completed. This BUC provides a basic way for all participants to reach a common understanding in a controlled way that the process has ended and they can mark their internal systems accordingly.

If you want to terminate a case, you have to fill out a ‘Request for Close' SED X001 by entering all the required information about the reasons for closing the case and send it to Other Participant(s). The Other Participant(s) receive the X001 and understand the case is now formally finished. In general, you will not receive a specific reply to your X001.
