Pre-watching activities

The students discuss in groups and take some notes about the impact of history on their lifes, share aspects of their family history and the origin of their relatives (see Material).

After watching the movie

The students reflect upon the film and discuss questions in class (see Material).

Short comment

Students write a short comment about „Laszlo Nussbaum“

including their own impressions and opinion (120 words).

Wrap-up

Students discuss in class and together create ideas for a map on a large sheet of paper that shows all their roots – for example in lines or in colours.
