£33,797 to £40,322 per annum
The School of Art, Media, and American Studies is recruiting a full-time, fixed-term Lecturer in His- tory of Art (Academic Teaching and Scholarship). This appointment is to cover the provision on Medieval and Renaissance art while the current postholder is on research leave.
The successful candidate will have a track record of teaching the subject. Alongside subject-spe- cific seminars, the candidate will be asked to convene lecture modules and contribute to the departmental provision at undergraduate and postgraduate level. The work will include a week- long fieldwork trip accompanying undergraduate students to Venice, a prestigious part of the taught programme.
The postholder will work in partnership with the world-renowned Sainsbury Centre for the Visual Arts (SCVA), the Sainsbury Research Unit (SRU), and the Sainsbury Institute for the Study of Japa- nese Arts and Culture (SISJAC).
This full-time post is available from 1 January 2020 for a fixed-term period of 12 months.
