Boletín de Arte (BOA) is a scientific journal of art history, published by the Institute of Argentine and American Art History of Facultad de Bellas Artes (Universidad Nacional de La Plata), refereed on a biannual basis.
The scope of the Journal focuses on theoretical and empirical research in the fields of art history, visual culture and comparative arts. BOA publishes original research, critical essays, interviews and exhibition and book reviews on historical, modern and contemporary art. The journal wel- comes
the submission in English, French and Portuguese besides Spanish and papers are published in its original language. It uses a double-blind, peer-reviewed trial.
Its editions will be published in April (for the period May-September) and in September (for the period October-April).
The reception of articles is open permanently.
In early May and mid-October, the editorial team compiles the papers received so far and begins the evaluation process for the publication of the new issue.
The magazine does not charge fees for submission of papers, nor fees for the publication of its articles.
