ART HISTORIAN, MODERNIST
Washington College, a selective, national liberal-arts institution, invites applications for the entry-level, tenure-track position of Assistant
Professor of Art History, beginning August 2004. Teach introductory survey of Western art, courses in 19th-century art, 20th-century art, American art, a course in non-Western art, and the occasional special topics offering. Ph.D., publications, and teaching experience preferred.
Washington College is located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland near the Chesapeake Bay; Washington, D.C., Baltimore, and Philadelphia are within easy driving distance.
