Die Fragestellung macht im Englischen immer wieder Probleme:

Wenn du eine Frage stellst, wird das Verb normalerweise mit »do« umschrieben!!

Do you like soft drinks?

Bei »he/she/it« steht dann natürlich »does«!!

Why does she look so sad?

Im past tense muss man mit »did« umschreiben!

Why did he look so sad?

Natürlich gibt es auch hier wieder Ausnahmen:

Verbformen von »to be« werden nicht umschrieben!

Are you lonesome tonight?

Auch Verbformen mit have ... – has ... usw. werden nicht umschrieben!

Have you ever seen the rain?

Fragen mit who ...? werden auch nicht umschrieben!

Who played the guitar?

Wer = Who ...? Who is the best singer?

Wo = Where ...? Where do you come from?

Wie = How ...? How does he sing?

Wann = When ...? When do you come?

Warum = Why ...? Why are you late?

Was = What ...? What does it mean?

Welche = Which ...? Which kind of music do you like?

Wessen = Whose ...? Whose dog is it?
