The objective of our study was to characterize health- care expenditures and hospice utilization among patients with HCC using a large, national database (https://rdcu.b e/chJfX). Minority patients and individuals with hepato- cellular carcinoma residing in high-vulnerability areas were less likely to use hospice. Patients who utilized hos- pice at end of life had a reduction in inpatient and outpatient Medicare claims.
