Programme Name Sector Cross-sector Impact Measures to harness or Mitigate the Impact
Synergies Adverse impact
Livestock Resource Management and development
Agriculture
Production of organic fertilizer (Manure) hence reduce emissions associated with chemical fertilizers
High demand and strain on pristine land for fodder production hence creating a high carbon footprint in the ecosystem
-link with related sectors (institutions and related sectors) to adapt and step up use of organic fertilizer for improved soil aggregates including soil carbon (sequestration)
-Encourage intensification and commercialization (improved off-farm production systems) hence less strain on land
