Exercise 7: Qt-Designer
Date: Summer Term 2007
In this exercise, you will be learning how to use the graphical design tool, called Qt-Designer.
Work through the chapter “Getting Started” of the Qt-Designer’s documentation and re-do all steps.
Answer the following questions:
1. How do you get a working application from a.ui-file?
2. How are signals and slots created and connected within Qt-designer?
3. Which file contains the project’s information, its configuration, etc.?
4. How many source files are used?
5. How does the compiler and Qt-designer know which files have to be compiled?
6. What will be changed, if you add more source files?
7. In which file would/should the source code for additional slots be placed?
8. What is the purpose of the filemain.cpp?
