Grayanane Diterpenoids from the Fruits of Pieris formosa

Four new acylated grayanane diterpenoids, pierisformosins E–H (1–4), togetherwith two known ones, pierisformosins B and C (5,6), were isolated from the fruits ofPieris formosa. The structures and relative configurations of the new compounds were elucidated by means of spectroscopic meth- ods, including 1D and 2D NMR and mass spectrometry.
