Faculty of Arts

Having won substantial funding under the second phase of the Support Programme for University Research (SPUR2), the University of Ulster is establishing two major new research centres within the Faculty of Arts:

The Centre for Research in Art, Technologies and Design (CREATED) The Centre for Media Research.

These centres are intended to build upon the proven strengths of research in art and design and media studies, build critical mass and stimulate research of national and international excellence.

For appointment at professorial level attractive salary packages will be available to the successful candidates according to their skills and experience. For all other posts starting salaries will be in the following ranges:

Readers/Senior Lecturers £35,251 - £39,958 Lecturer £22,191 - £33,679

Research Associates £18,265 - £20311 Insertion Date - w/c 22/9/03

Closing Date - For chairs/readers closing date will be 22/10/03 For all other posts closing date will be 17/10/03.
