Please check whether the rechargeable battery is charged and if necessary charge it.
Please also check the battery in the transmitting unit and replace it if necessary.

I would like to start the training, why doesn't the Ski- watch show the speed?
For a fast GPS reception the watch must be lying still and not in motion. Before starting your running training and/or your journey, place your Ski watch in an open space with a clear view of the sky (e.g. on the window sill or the car roof) and start the search for satellites.
Please also note point 6 "General information about GPS reception" in the instruction manual.
What does the display " " mean?
" " on the display of the Ski watch means that it has not received any GPS signal or has lost all satellite signals.
Why can't I see anything on the display?
Why doesn't the display illumination work?
Check whether the rechargeable battery has been charged and if necessary charge it up. If you still can't see anything on the display please contact the service address.
Why is the screen black, the displays are illegible?
This is caused by being exposed to direct sunlight or excessive ambient temperature for too long. Let the Ski watch cool down and then the screen will be legible again.
The display is reacting slowly?
Is the temperature below -10 °C? When the temperature rises above -10 °C, the display will normalise again.
Saved data will not be lost due to this.
How long does the rechargeable battery of the Ski watch last?
The service life of the rechargeable battery is approx. 12 hours when using GPS and in the time mode approx. 1 year.
My current speed is not being shown?
Please check whether you have adequate GPS signal.
Why is the Ski watch showing a speed although I am not walking/riding?
This depends on the precision of the determination of position and/or the measurement intervals of the Ski watch. See the next paragraph about the precision of the Ski watch.
How precisely does the Ski watch display?
The precision depends on the satellite reception. The level of precision relates to the 50% CEP (Circular Error Probability). This means, that with very good satellite reception, 50% of all measurements are located in a circle, with the stated radius of 3m. However, this also means that half of the measurement points are outside of this radius.
Furthermore, it is also the case that 95% of all measurement points are located within a circle with double the stated radius. Almost all points are therefore located within a circle with a 6m radius, in the case of very good satellite reception.
I can't charge the rechargeable battery of the Ski watch?
Please ensure that the USB port which you have connected the Ski watch to, is live. It is not necessary to install a driver to charge the rechargeable battery.
If there are problems charging the Ski watch, please check the contact pins on the reverse side of the watch. If these have been contaminated with sweat and skin particles, please clean them with the cleaning brush included.
Why is an incorrect speed shown when cycling, compared to the radio bicycle computer?
Never use a bicycle computer with radio transmission at the same time as the Ski watch. The signal of the sensor from the bicycle computer could disturb the Ski watch. Therefore, it can lead to incorrect readings.
Can you mount a mobile phone and the Ski watch on the handlebars of the bicycle at the same time?
It is not recommended, as it can lead to disturbances (radio).
Which types of sports is the Ski watch suitable for?
For outdoor sports such as skiing, running, cycling, etc.
Can I also use the Ski watch to survey properties, houses etc.?
The Ski watch is only for use in the leisure/hobby area. Do not use the Ski watch if you need measurements with professional precision.
Why doesn't the pulse measurement work?
Please check whether the battery is correctly inserted in the transmitter unit. The small metal sheet in the battery compartment must be above the battery. Make sure that the chest strap is not fitted neither too tightly nor to loosely. And remember to wet it prior to the training.
