Information on the COVID-19 vaccination

The COVID-19 vaccination is voluntary and free of charge.
Who can be vaccinated?
Persons with sole or habitual residency in Germany can receive vaccinations.
Health insurance coverage is not required.
What documents must I have to get vaccinated?
To receive your vaccination you must have a valid identification document (e.g. an ID card) as well as a vaccination pass if you have one.
How and where can I receive a vaccination against the COVID-19 virus?
There are several different ways to obtain a COVID-19 vaccination:
1. Make an appointment with your treating general practitioner or medical specialist for in-practice vaccination. In some practices you can enter your personal data on a vaccination registration list.
2. There are 28 Vaccination Centres in Schleswig-Holstein, which are now offering open vaccination hours with all vaccines. You can simply go to a centre and get your vaccination.
3. You can also book an appointment convenient to you at one of the 28 Vaccination Centres at www.impfen-sh-de.
4. It is also possible to make an appointment for vaccination by your company physician or private physician.
5. Mobile vaccination teams are also providing vaccines in some cities / communities – in some cases announced locally by multilingual placards.

Your general practitioner is the right person to answer any such questions.
