European Graduates' Seminar

Educational Challenges – Relevance of the Holocaust Today November 29-December 3, 2015

The International School for Holocaust Studies of Yad Vashem Jerusalem, Israel

The European Department of the International School for Holocaust Studies of Yad Vashem will organize a graduate seminar to focus on:

 The Relevance of Holocaust Remembrance 70 Years Later

 Teaching about Perpetrators

 Present-Day Antisemitism

Seminar graduates from European countries may apply to take part in a special seminar in English at Yad Vashem from November 29- December 3, 2015.

Participants will work with Yad Vashem staff to grapple with the above-mentioned themes with a view to consider how to develop curricula. Leading experts in the field will be invited to provide historical context.

Yad Vashem will cover the cost of the seminar and participants' hotel accommodation for five (5) nights on a double-occupancy basis. All participants are expected to cover their own travel expenses.
