Ridgeview Classical Schools is seeking a teacher of art and art history to join its faculty during the 2005-2006 academic year. Ridgeview is a K-12 charter school in Fort Collins, Colorado going into its fifth year.
Ridgeview has emerged as one of the top schools in the state of Colorado and has been recognized by the Center for Education Reform and the U. S.
Department of Education. The position calls for the teaching of core art in the elementary and middle schools according to the Core Knowledge curriculum and of electives in art history in the high school. Two teachers divide the
instruction of art for the entire school. The candidate should have an extensive background in art and art history and understand the role of art in a classical education.
