Wahlbekanntmachung
Von Dienstag, 22. Juni 2021, 09:00 Uhr bis Donnerstag, 24. Juni 2021, 15:30 Uhr finden elektronische Wahlen zu den fol- genden Gremien der Hochschule Rhein-Waal statt:
Senat (Studierende)
Wahlberechtigt für die Wahlen der studentischen Mitglieder im Senat sind die eingeschriebenen Studierenden der Hoch- schule Rhein-Waal, sofern sie im Wählerverzeichnis eingetragen sind.
Fakultätsräte (alle Statusgruppen)
Wahlberechtigt für die Wahlen der Mitglieder in den Fakultätsräten der einzelnen Fakultäten sind das nicht nur vorüber- gehend oder gastweise hauptberuflich tätige Hochschulpersonal sowie die eingeschriebenen Studierenden, sofern sie im Wählerverzeichnis eingetragen sind. Es ist beschränkt auf die Mitglieder der jeweiligen Fakultät.
Gleichstellungskommission (Studierende)
Wahlberechtigt sind die eingeschriebenen Studierenden der Hochschule Rhein-Waal, sofern sie im Wählerverzeichnis eingetragen sind, wobei die weiblichen Studierenden der Hochschule das weibliche Mitglied der Gleichstellungskommis- sion und die männlichen Studierenden der Hochschule das männliche Mitglied der Gleichstellungskommission wählen.
Beauftragte*r für Studierende mit Behinderung oder chronischer Erkrankung (Studierende)
Wahlberechtigt sind die eingeschriebenen Studierenden, sofern sie im Wählerverzeichnis eingetragen sind.
Alle Wahlberechtigten der Hochschule werden dazu aufgerufen, ihre Stimme abzugeben.
Die Wahlen erfolgen als internetbasierte Online-Wahl (elektronische Wahl), sofern im Vorfeld keine Briefwahl beantragt wurde.
Mit dem Versand der Briefwahlunterlagen werden die Wahlberechtigten von der elektronischen Stimmabgabe ausgeschlossen.
Frist für den Eingang der Briefwahlunterlagen bei der Wahlleitung der Hochschule Rhein-Waal ist 24. Juni 2021, 15:30 Uhr.
Das Online-Wahlportal ist vom 22. Juni 2021, 09:00 Uhr bis zum 24. Juni 2021, 15:30 Uhr geöffnet. Der Link zum Online- Wahlportal wird den Wahlberechtigten per E-Mail übermittelt. Die Authentifizierung erfolgt über die jeweiligen Anmeldedaten der Beschäftigten oder Studierenden. Nach elektronischer Authentifizierung im Wählerportal erhalten die Wähler*innen Zugang zu den Wahlunterlagen sowie einer eidesstattlichen Versicherung.
Das Wahlergebnis wird gemäß § 18 der Wahlordnung zu den Gremien und Organen der Hochschule Rhein-Waal nach Abschluss der Wahlen ermittelt. Die Auszählung der auf elektronischem Wege abgegeben Stimmen erfolgt durch das elektronische Wahlsys- tem. Die per Briefwahl abgegeben Stimmen werden den elektronisch abgegeben Stimmen hinzugezählt. Die Auszählung aller ab- gegebenen Stimmen findet am 25. Juni 2021, ab 15:30 Uhr in Raum 04 02 004 (Campus Kleve) statt. Das Wahlergebnis wird hochschulöffentlich für die Dauer von zwei Wochen durch Veröffentlichung auf der Homepage der Hochschule bekannt gegeben.

Election Notice
From Tuesday 22 June 2021 at 9:00 to Thursday 24 June 2021 at 15:30 electronic elections for the following councils of Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences will be held:
Senate (students)
Eligibility to vote and stand for the election is held by matriculated students provided they are named on the electoral register.
Faculty Boards (all groups)
Eligibility to vote and stand for the election is held by university staff employed on a full-time basis, not merely temporari- ly or as guests, and by matriculated students provided they are named on the electoral register. Eligibility is restricted to members of the respective faculty.
Equal Opportunities Commission (students)
Eligibility to vote and stand for the election is held by matriculated students provided they are named on the electoral register.
Special Needs Commissioner for Students with Disabilities or Chronic Illnesses (students)
Eligibility to vote and stand for the election is held by matriculated students provided they are named on the electoral register.
All eligible voters of the university are invited to cast their votes.
The election will be held as Internet based online election (electronic election), provided no postal vote has been requested.
Voters who requested a postal vote are excluded from electronic voting once the postal ballot documents are sent out. The dead- line for receipt of postal voting documents by the Election Committee of Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences is 24 June 2021 at 15:30.
The online election portal will be open from Tuesday 22 June at 9:00 to Thursday 24 June 2021 at 15:30. The link to the elec- tion portal will be sent to the voters by e-mail. The authentication takes place via the respective login data of the employees or stu- dents. After electronic authentication in the election portal, voters receive access to the election documents and an affidavit.
The election results will be determined according to §18 of the Election Regulations for the Committees and Bodies of Rhine- Waal University of Applied Sciences after the elections have been concluded. The counting of votes cast electronically is provided by the electronic voting system. The votes cast by postal vote are added to the electronically cast votes. The counting of all votes cast will take place on 25 June 2021 from 15:30 in room 04 02 004 (Kleve Campus). The election result shall be announced on the university’s website for a period of two weeks.
