We have rules which apply to all

We support you so that you and your child feel safe in our facility and has the same rights as all other families and children.

We therefore do not tolerate discriminatory and deliberately offensive behaviour. We in- tervene in the case of inhuman, derogatory or threatening statements. We remain alert to our own prejudices and evaluations.

We do not allow any signs that conflict with the equality of all people. Organisations that are opposed to equal coexistence may not be advertised.

Diversity is welcome at our daycare centre

This is a place where children and families, who both share things in common and are also different in many ways, come together.

Every child comes to the daycare centre with their own personal experiences, questions, interests and talents. Each family has its own history, lives differently together, has different beliefs and different things that are important to it.

We are pleased that you and your children bring this diversity with you and welcome everyone to the daycare centre.

WE ARE A

CATHOLIC DAYCARE CENTRE

Every person is unique and equally valuable.

This Christian message is not compatible with devaluation, exclusion

and discrimination – neither of groups nor of individuals.

We therefore do not allow children and their families, employees or guests to be disparaged or attacked – not on the basis of

• their faith,

• their way of life and their family structure,

• their migratory history,

• their gender or sexuality,

• their body,

• …

As a church institution, we tolerate no form of hostility or discrimination towards human beings.

WE HAVE A SOCIAL OBLIGATION This includes

• the protection and equal development of all children,

• a positive contribution to their living conditions,

• the communication of guiding values.

In our facility, all adults commit themselves to treat everyone with respect. We also help your children treat others with respect and affirm diversity.

In our day care centre, children learn on a daily basis

• to (recognise and) know their own interests and limits and to clearly express them,

• to assume responsibility for themselves and for our coexistence,

• to respect the boundaries of others,

• to ask others about their interests to exchange information peacefully,

• to balance these interests and implement them equally,

• to support each other.

These skills are the basis of our democratic society.
