Alfred Franz

From the start serving in the Statistical Office of Austria, Alfred Franz was responsible for the NA from 1972 to 1994. Thereafter he took over the Department on Social Statistics (including Regional Accounts and International Comparisons; up to 2002). He held Honorary Professor- ship on Economic and Social Statistics at the University of Vienna, and similar Lectureships at the Vienna University of Technology and at the University of Innsbruck. By OECD, WHO, ECE and Eurostat he was entrusted with a variety of consultancies (Non­Market Accounts; “Hidden Economy”;

“Household Economy”; “Satellite Accounts” /Health;

Regional; Tourism; Gender/; International Comparison Programme).­ His personal research interest still pertains to the concepts on “Government in the NA”.

Pia Valerie Dostal

DI Pia Valerie Dostal ist Absolventin des Studiums Raum- planung und Raumordnung an der TU Wien mit einem Auslandsaufenthalt an der Rijksuniversiteit Groningen.

Seit 2014 ist sie Mitarbeiterin im Büro Kordina ZT mit der Zuständigkeit im Bereich der kommunalen Raumplanung und Mitarbeit bei Umweltverträglichkeitsgutachten.

Heike Egner

Heike Egner ist Professorin für Geographie und Instituts- vorständin des Instituts für Geographie und Regionalfor- schung an der Alpen­Adria­Universität Klagenfurt. Ihre Forschungsinteressen liegen unter anderen in nachhalti- ger Entwicklung, gesellschaftlichen Naturverhältnissen, gesellschaftlichen Konsequenzen des globalen Umwelt- wandels.

Michael Jungmeier

Michael Jungmeier ist Ökologe und promovierter Human- geograph und. Er ist Gründer und Leiter von E.C.O. Ins- titut für Ökologie; er unterrichtet unter anderem an der Technischen Universität Wien, an der Universität Wien, an der Alpen­Adria Universität Klagenfurt sowie an der Fach- hochschule Kärnten. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte sind angewandte Schutzgebietsforschung und transdiziplinäre Methoden.

Claudia Loidolt

Claudia Loidolt received her Master degree in Spatial Plan- ning in 2015 from the TU Wien. She is currently working at a Market Research Institute in Vienna where she focuses on statistical analysis based on regional sales data.

Vania Paccagnan

Vania Paccagnan is currently an independent economist and policy analyst, specialized on water resources eco- nomics and policy, water services regulation, flood risk management, adaptation to climate change and local development. Previously she worked as an economic advi- sor and analyst for the Environment Agency for England and Wales, and held research positions at University IUAV and IEFE, Bocconi University. She holds a Dottorato (PhD) in Public Policy Analysis and Urban Studies from Univer- sity IUAV of Venice (Italy) and a MSc in Environmental Eco- nomics from the University of York (UK).

Angelika Psenner

Angelika Psenner holds the Elise Richter teaching and researching position at TU Vienna, at the Department of Urban Design. Trained as an architect (TUW) and sociol- ogist (IHS), her primary research interests focus on top- ics like: ‘Urban Planning Research; ‘Perception of Space, Architecture and the City’; ‘Gründerzeit Architecture’;

‘Negotiating Mobility and Sense of Place in Urban Dis- course’; ‘StadtParterre’; ‘Urban Parterre Modelling UPM’.

Her work has been awarded with several academic prizes, amongst those the Elise Richter Funding by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF); Hochschuljubiläumsstiftungs­Preis by the City of Vienna; Research Fellowship by the Inter- national Research Center for Cultural Studies IFK, Vienna;

Lena Rücker

Lena Rücker studiert Raumplanung und Raumordnung im Masterstudium an der TU Wien. Ihre wissenschaftlichen Interessen liegen in den Bereichen Infrastrukturpolitik und Public Finance, Gouvernance, Urbane Resilienz und inte grierte Entwicklungsplanung.
