Abstract

The goal of this bachelor’s thesis is to map the activity of the border organization “Euregio Egrensis” within the purview of the project Ziel 3/Cíl 3. The bachelor’s thesis is concentrated on concrete projects from 2007 to 2013. It is focused on positives and negatives benefits to the future.

The theoretical part of the thesis is directed on the historical overview of the region “Egerland” and its influence on cooperation between the Czech and German countries.

It is supposed to give an overview about the structure of “Euregio Egrensis” and its project Ziel 3/Cíl 3. Requirement of acquiring of grants will be demonstrated.

In the practical part of the thesis the function of cooperation in the regions Bavaria, Bohemia and Saxony will be presented on several projects.
