ARK-XIII/2 processing log

a) Original data

Original Parasound data were held on tape. Altogether, 60 tapes were copied (Tape 1 to Tape 60).

According to the logbook, the expedition endured until tape No. 68 but the last eight tapes could not be found at AWI.

b) Navigation

As only three days of Hydrosweep navigation was available, the navigation in the Parasound headers was interpolated PODAS navigation information. This was complete for the whole expedition with one exception (data gap 20-07-97 08:40:40 to 20-07-97 08:54:00) which was interpolated linearly.

c) Corrections

Data volume 10.3GB
