5 Contents & Objectives:

Structures and processes of modern organizations strongly depend on enterprise software systems. We describe this phenomenon as business IT alignment. Our summer course module gives room to discussions on various theories, technological changes towards cloud-based enterprise processes and aspects of modern up-to-date software usage in companies. The course starts with two half-day lectures (each starting at 1 pm UTC/GMT at 2021/07/05 and 2021/07/06) followed by various self-learning sessions based on enterprise case studies with hands-on experience on one or more Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP S/4 Hana. A closing session at 2021/07/15 will summarize and broaden the discussions and findings. The module will end one day later with an online exam. We will record all lectures in case you cannot make it to each lecture due to time (zone) restrictions. You can handle all self-learning sessions at any convenient time of day.
