Findings

• NPP ~ Precipitation: There is a significant relation between NPP and precipitation

• NPP ~ Temperature: Temperature variability in rainy season is not significant

• NPP ~ LULCC: According to ANOVA results for each sample year significant differences occur between :

MG(Mixed Vegetation to Grassland) and GC(Grassland to Cropland)

matching with the tropical dry forest distribution and the northern part of the trans-volcanic belt, while the regeneration areas are located in the center of the country and

A comparison of the control data provided for each campaign (i.e. either of the three expert choices) against the crowdsourced data for the primary land cover class resulted in

To evaluate the uncertainty of LULC change allocation across the six gridded models and identify areas of disagreement among the models, we calculated gridded maps of total

The crucial assumptions underlying the concept of constraining cumulative emissions globally are: (a) that the not directly human-impacted part of the terrestrial biosphere stays

Both the work of Berger (2001) and Huigen (2003) as well as most other agent based modelling LUCC studies (Gotts et al. 2003, Deadman and Schlager 2002) combine object orientation

Direct demand for land is the demand for land that is used directly for consumption of land, guided by market signals such as land prices and land rent regulating supply and demand

Phase I of this study, described in this report, generates input parameters for this model based on a time series of actual and derived parameters. Atmospheric forcing data

Various large-scale linear and nonlinear programming models have been used to simulate allocation of land between competing activities in agriculture and forestry,
